Camera Obscura

My favorite technological device is the photographic camera because I can capture what happens around me and the way I see it. The first camera that I had was a gift from my dad. It was a digital camera. I used to capture many family meetings and happy moments with friends. Besides, I learned about the functions of the camera and how they operate, which helped me a lot to take better pictures. My favorite function is double exposure because I can combine two exposures to create a single image, for example, an image can be composed by a portrait and an abstract or landscape photo with a lot of textures. After that, I started photographing places and other things, such as the urban scene, what happens on the street, how people act and how they relate to each other. I discovered how much I love documentary photography. Currently, since I'm studying photography, I use the camera regularly because it helps me with university projects and, in my free time, I take pictures of places that catch my attention.
